Hello again,

Not sure when it happened, but last version cut javascript from BUTTON urls.

[wc_button url=”javascript:jivo_api.showProactiveInvitation(”);”…

Doesn’t work anymore. The result will be empty href.

It still works, but you can’t insert javascript code. I was contacted by ww.wp.xz.cn of this security vulnerability, and they required me to sanitize user input like that. They cited the button URL as a specific example.

Chris, thank you, Is there any workaround for this? Can I remove this “filter” using custom functions? Or maybe you can point me on your function which does it and tell me what to change (comment) in it?

You can set a class name to your buttons, and apply your javascript in a file or in your footer like so:
