Javascript is Broken

I’m currently jumping into a theme that a previous developer had been working on. It’s harmony 2.0 and all the javascript is broken!!!

i can’t update widgets, and when i hover over sidebar none of the fly outs (using show/hide) aren’t working!

I can’t update widgets and/or settings of widgets.

So the issue is just in the dashboard, not on your website?

yeah exactly. just admin js. (drag and drop for widgets doesn’t work, show hide js wont work)

It’s definitely this theme; have you tried with all plugins deactivated?

yes actually i have, nothing happened. i also switched the elegance theme to 2012 and everything was fixed. What could cause this error within the theme? I’m okay with programming and pretty avid with wordpress so any help would be appreciated

When you update widgets can you check your browser’s console log for errors? http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

that’s what happens when i go to the widgets page, than attempt to drag a widget off of the “sidebar widget area”
