    Hello

    I have jet pack and image accelerator switch on, everything was working fine but last 24-48 hours i have found its effectively corrupting the image, however if i turn off the image accelerator the image reinstates.

    Please can you advise how to rectify this?

    Hi there –

    I tested your site’s connection to Jetpack and tested our Site Accelerator’s ability to fetch images from your site and it seems like it should work properly.

    Can you share a URL of where you are experiencing the issue? If it isn’t immediately obvious, can you explain how Site Accelerator is corrupting the image? Once we have that, we’ll turn on Site Accelerator temporarily so that we can identify the issue and investigate further.

    If you turn the image accelerator on the image basically disappears, then reappears when switched off

    I can see you’ve provided a URL of your WP-Admin dashboard, and we can’t access that as we don’t have the logins.

    So we can check this further, please share with us the URL that’s on your frontend (which users/visitors can browse), so we can take a closer look by temporarily enabling Site Accelerator from our end.

    The images that are effected have not been added to a product yet, so sent an a image link instead

    Hi @dazsmodels,

    If I understood all well, the only images that are having trouble when the Site Accelerator feature is toggled on are the images that are published but not added into a product page yet, is that correct?

    If that’s so, let’s rule out some other causes of this problem before escalating it further:

    – clear the site cache
    – turn off any caching plugin you have enabled
    – check for any security plugin you may have enabled, and try temporarily disabling them

    We tried this already to no success and the only thing that worked was turning the image accelerator off

    Hmm that’s unusual. At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening. Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

    It’s possible that we’re going to ask you to share login access credentials; if that’s so, we’ll share a secure link where you can add your login credentials — emails are very not secure for such information sharing.
