    Although that solution will work on the short term, I’d recommend against creating a whitelist of IPs. Our IPs change over time, so a day will come when the IPs you’ve used to make Jetpack work won’t be valid anymore.

    Instead of blocking access to the XML-RPC file, I’d suggest allowing access, and then only blocking some of the requests with a plugin like this one:
