Jetpack?

Would it not make sense to add an automated import feature to the Jetpack plugin? (if that’s not already on the roadmap).

I die a little inside every time I have to import 5gb of a client’s media/images. Most shared servers timeout the connection after about 100mb …so it takes a LOT of import runs to transfer all the content across.

Unless I’m doing something wrong? Maybe someone can tell me there’s a better way? 🙂
