    Were you running Jetpack 4.2? That was released for a short time and, in a specific set of circumstances, particularly a specific config of W3 Total Cache, along with Jetpack 4.2 resulted in this problem.

    If you delete and reinstall Jetpack, it’ll install the older version—4.1.1—which does not suffer this issue. 4.2.1 to resolve this and another issue will be released early next week.
