Jetpack Blocks Break Post Editor

    Hello,

    I have had an issue where the post editor for certain posts (especially lengthy, multi-page, and image heavy) will not load, resulting in the “white screen”. After much testing and adjusting, I have discovered that if the Jetpack > Writing > Composing > “Jetpack Blocks” is toggled off, the editor will load fine. When I enter debug mode, the error I receive is the screenshot attached.

    This is obviously a major bummer because I would like to be able to use Jetpack Blocks’ slideshow but don’t want to have to disable it anytime I want to edit some posts.

    No worries, it’s http://www.parklore.com. One of the posts I’m unable to edit, for example, is parklore.com/main/buildout-ioa. Thanks for the help!

    Thanks for sharing that site URL!

    I took a look, and I can see on my end that your Jetpack connection is currently broken. The issue with Jetpack blocks may very well be because your connection isn’t working, but even if it isn’t, we do need to eliminate it as a possibility first.
