Since a few hours ago, for some odd reason, Jetpack Boost can’t load speed scoring and gives the error “Timed out while waiting for speed-score”. I’ve already de-installed and reinstalled the plugin with no success. Any idea will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello @marcelotodaro,

Thanks for contacting us, and I’m sorry for the delay. We’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received.

Can you tell us if you have a security plugin installed on your site that might get in the way here? I see that you have Wordfence Security installed on your site. Could you please pause or temporarily disable the plugin and see if you see the same timeout errors with the Jetpack Boost scores?

I also ran some tests on your site, and it seems that visitors and search engines can access your site using HTTP or HTTPS.

This is an issue for Jetpack, as our system does not know whether it should connect to your site via one or the other address.

To solve this issue, I would recommend that you change your site’s URL to HTTPS (you can do so under Settings > General in your dashboard), and then ask your host for help redirecting all traffic from HTTP to HTTPS.

Once that’s done, reconnect your site to Jetpack again.

Let us know how that goes!

    Hello, Joseph.

Thank you very much for your kind attention.

I actually use Wordfence, but I’ve never had compatibility issues between it and Jetpack Boost. In fact, the problem I initially reported resolved itself. I believe there was some temporary communication glitch between my website and the Jetpack Boost server.

As for SSL redirection, I spoke to my provider’s support and they opened a ticket to resolve the issue with my SSL certificate not appearing in the control panel for me to trigger the redirection. Support suggested that in the meantime I use the Really Simple SSL plugin, which is what I’m doing.

At this moment Jetpack Boost is working normally.

    Thanks again for your feedback.

    Best regards!
