Jetpack can't connect

    I’ve just started to use ww.wp.xz.cn and tried to set up the JetPack that was provided with my GoDaddy subscription/hosting

    I have been getting same message throughout the past day or so:

    Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

    Operation timed out after 15000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    This seems a bit strange since it was a service provided by GoDaddy so it should be unlikely that they wouldn’t be compatible with eachother?

    Anyone had this problem recently and have a fix for it?

    Judging from the JetPack forum – lots of people are having this issue today – http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/jetpack

    Might be a JetPack issue. I’d suggest that you wait a while and try it again. If it still doesn’t work, start your own thread on JetPack’s forum and include a link to your site.
