I get an error message on my Jetpack dashboard and don’t see any stats.
(I can see the stats by logging in to wordpress.com)
The error message is as follows.
The Jetpack dashboard was unable to communicate successfully with the site. Check the site’s error log for problems.

The reason why the error message came to be displayed is as follows.
[1] Two administrator users were registered on the WordPress site. I was linking Jetpack with the account of one of them.
[2] In order to transfer the authority of Jetpack to the other user, I once canceled Jetpack authentication, logged in to the wordpress management screen with a new account, and then performed the procedure to link with Jetpack.
[3] At that time, the message “Delete user” was displayed, so I checked “Make all content belong to the following users” and took the procedure to transfer the authority to the new account.
[4] Then, the above error message came to appear.

    The questions are:
[Q1] How can I link Jetpack with the site again?
[Q2] What is the “site error log” in the error message text? I checked debug.log in the wp-content directory, but there were no Jetpack errors.

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

I would recommend that you reconnect your site to WordPress.com using your current administrator account; that should fix the issue. To do so:

    1. Go to Jetpack > Dashboard in your dashboard.
    2. Scroll down to the Connections section
    3. Click on “Manage site connection”
    4. Disconnect your site from WordPress.com
    5. The page should then reload and you should be able to reconnect to WordPress.com.

Let us know how that goes!

Thank you very much for your reply

I tried the procedure for commenting, but the error message is still displayed.

    <What went>
I canceled Jetpack integration from [Site Connection Management].
Nothing happened after that, so I manually reworked with Jetpack.

The site stats look like displaying normally.
Does it mean that there is no problem if an error message appears?
I’d like to get rid of the error message if possible, but is there a way?
I would appreciate it if you could answer.

What is the URL of the site with the problem?

    Thank you for your reply.
    The URL is as follows.

    https://design-cubits.com/

Sometimes the error message does not appear.
But there is a high probability that the error message will appear.
When I get an error message, I don’t see Dashboard> Site Stats. The wheel is spinning all the time.
If no error message appears, the site statistics etc. will be displayed normally.

At first I thought that the cooperation with wordpress.com was not working well, but maybe it is just that the information is not obtained well from time to time.

    Hi there,

When I run your site through the Jetpack debugger I get an XML-RPC connection error:

    https://tools.jetpack.com/debug/?url=https://design-cubits.com/

For Jetpack to properly fuction in needs to be connected to WordPress.com wihtout such errors.

Please contact your host and ask them to unblock your XML-RPC file. If they’re not blocking it, then it’s possible that another plugin is causing a conflict. To find which plugin is causing the issue you can disable them all (except for Jetpack) and see if the connection issue is resolved. If it is, then you need to enable them one by one until you find the one that’s causing the issue.
