GamePress uses comment_form() to display comments. I also tested Jetpack comments on my demo website, and there’s no problem.
This problem could be caused by plugin conflict. You should disable all plugins (besides Jetpack) and see if that helps.
ps. I’m assuming you have comments enabled for posts & pages.

I enabled JetPack comments for the GamePress theme but they aren’t working. I believe it needs the code comment_form() in the comments.php file.

They said to link the creator of the Theme to this WordPress page for the codex? http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/comment_form
