A few of the users of my site say that when they enter comments, their data (name, email, website) are not saved from one session to the next. Some users say this happens on one device, but not another. They say that they are checking the “remember my personal information” checkbox and still their data is forgotten.

I know if my readers create accounts and log in, their data will be remembered more often, but short of that is there a way to make this more reliable?

(My apologies if this is not related to Jetpack. If this is more of a core problem, can someone point me to the correct message board?)

    Hi there,

This is not Jetpack related but related to how a web browser works.

When someone checks the remember my personal information checkbox, that information is stored locally on their browser. If they clear their cache and cookies or use a privacy extension, that information gets deleted.
