    Hello Jetpack Support Team,

We are currently experiencing an issue where Jetpack reports a communication problem between our website and WordPress.com.

    Website: https://peaktherapeutics.net

Jetpack displays the following notice in Site Health:

“Jetpack has detected a problem with the communication between your site and WordPress.com.”

During our investigation, we found that the XML-RPC endpoint (xmlrpc.php) was returning a 403 error, which prevented Jetpack from communicating with WordPress.com.

Here are the troubleshooting steps we have completed:

    • Confirmed that the xmlrpc.php file exists in the WordPress root directory (public_html).
    • Verified with our server team that XML-RPC access had been blocked at the server level.
    • The server team has now enabled XML-RPC access.
    • The endpoint is currently accessible:
      https://peaktherapeutics.net/xmlrpc.php
    • Screenshot confirming the endpoint response:
      https://prnt.sc/XCFYWxDut55-

Following the guidance from Jetpack documentation, we reconnected the Jetpack plugin to the WordPress.com account to re-establish communication. However, the error is still being displayed in Site Health.

Could you please help us verify whether Jetpack is successfully communicating with WordPress.com from your side, or advise if there are any additional steps required to fully restore the connection?

Please let us know if you require any further details such as logs, debug information, or access for troubleshooting.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Saliya Saheer

    Hello @saliya22,

Thanks for running a good part of our troubleshooting steps, and sorry you are having connection problems.

I checked the connection on my end, and I can confirm an ongoing issue. The main error you reported initially seems to be solved, but there are still some sync problems happening.

I have launched a full sync job for your site, which should help update the data cached and info passed between your server and ours.

Please check the connection again in about 24 hours time (you may also want to disconnect and reconnect) and let us know if the problem reoccurs. Thanks!

    Hello @saliya22,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
