Hello, I’m having issues with connecting Jetpack and WordPress. The error says they were not able to locate the WordPress Installation. (error message: We can’t find your WordPress installation. Please make sure the file path is correct. [vp_api_error, null])
How can I resolve this problem?

    Hi there,

It appears you have a paid plan with us, and you are getting issues when you are trying to add server credentials in Jetpack. Right?

It seems that the server credentials you have provided within your Jetpack settings are invalid as we are unable to locate your WordPress installation to create a working connection.

Can you please proceed to test the provided credentials with the free software, FileZilla?

If you can access your site files with this service using these credentials and successfully upload and access a test file, this should confirm that they are valid for usage, but if you are unable to access your site files via FileZilla or unable to upload a test file successfully, this means that the credentials are invalid.

If you are unsure of how to set up server credentials access directly to your WordPress installation, you’ll need to speak to your host. Only they have the full view of your hosting setup, and they should be able to confirm/provide the correct credentials for you, which you can again put back in Jetpack and start the restore.

Since you are a paid user, you can contact us from here for priority and better help (use the same WordPress.com account from which you have purchased the plan).

I contacted my server and found the correct credentials. Thank you!
