JetPack E-Mail Subscriptions Do Not Pickup TablePress Tables
-
Recently, we have started using the excellent TablePress plugin. It works really well and lets some of our non-technical users put really nice interactive tables into posts without resorting to HTML hand-coding.
You can see an example of such a table here:

Unfortunately, users who have subscribed to the blog and get e-Mail notifications will not see the table. What such an e-mail user will see looks like this:
“…to the west are excluded from the table.
[table id=2 /]
As you can see the state…”
I already discussed this with the owner of the TablePress plugin. He was sympathetic, but suggested that there was nothing he could do to make the e-mail format properly…
See:

If someone sends me an e-mail address contact to [email protected], I will be happy to forward the sample subscriber e-mail generated from the post mentioned above.
I hope that the fix for this is easy…the TablePress plugin is really useful and it would be very disappointing to have to drop back to hand-coding tables in HTML…
(?)
Thanks!
