I am so frustrated with Jetpack. I very rarely have issues with any of my other plug ins but almost everytime Jetpack updates it has some variation of the issue below. How do I fix it?

Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: xml_rpc-32700
    Try connecting again.
Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://www.faithonview.com/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

I’m afraid the problem hasn’t changed since last time we talked, 7 months ago:

Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately, that file is still blocked on your site:

Last time you mentioned that your hosting provider had replied that they were intentionally blocking XML-RPC access. Did you manage to convince them to enable it back after that last post? If so, you might want to get in touch with them again, and ask them to allow you to use XML-RPC again.

If your hosting provider keeps blocking you again and again, I’m afraid I can only suggest that you look for a different hosting provider. Most popular hosting providers allow access to XML-RPC, so you shouldn’t run into issues if you choose a popular host.

The host never changed it but a about a week after we last corresponded Jetpack connected. Not sure why but I decided then not to move my host. It has been connecting for the last seven months. However, with this update it happened again and I just don’t want to deal with it again. So, tomorrow I am backing all my sites up and then switching hosts. Hopefully that will take care of my issue.
