    Hello,
im using Jetpack on a local site. I built a lamp server on a debian system. Now i want to use Jetpack. To activate the Plugin was no problem, but when i want to activate on of the features nothing happens. What is wrong? Ownership on debian? Thank you
    Regards

Since you are working locally and your site is not publicly accessible, you cannot connect Jetpack to your WordPress.com account.

You consequently won’t be able to use any of the modules that require a WordPress.com connection. You can, however activate all the other modules by going to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard.

The modules that can be activated include an “Activate” button next to them, while the modules requiring a WordPress.com connection are just greyed out.

    Does that help?

Thank you for your quick answer.
Im using the development Mode and there is no connection to WordPress required

Do you experience issues with modules that don’t require a connection? If so, which ones are you trying to activate, and what happens when you click on “Activate”?

    Thanks!

Do you mean that you can’t go to Appearance > Edit CSS after activating the Custom CSS module, for example?

That’s interesting. Could you send me a screenshot of your Jetpack Settings, under Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard?

You can use http://snag.gy/ to post your screenshots here.

    Thanks!
