    Yikes so much! Jetpack needs to hop a jetpack back to 1992, where their folksy operation belongs.

    I’m one of many who wasted hours with the cumbersome and archaic alert, “Your IP address has been flagged for potential security violations. You can unlock your login by sending yourself a special link via email”.

    Apparently, this happens if you enter the wrong password. Of course, common sense dictates you receive a password reset from the website you’re using. I tried logging into Mercaribot, powered by WordPress, but somehow Jetpack is also sucking the teat.

    Spoiler alert: the reset link from Jetpack often doesn’t work and it’s a common problem people have posted for years. I just paid for my MercariBot subscription and now I’m going to require a refund. Great job whoever Jetpack is. Your attempt at mediocrity is hereby acknowledged.

    Is Mercaribot your site, or are you a user on that site?

    If you are a user on the site, I’d suggest contacting them and letting them know, as we cannot make any changes on their site.
