Why when I click the “Contact Us” button on the contact form, the button is disabled? I have noticed the button has a ‘disabled=”true”‘ attribute.

    – I have configured WP Mail SMTP successfully
    – I am not using Akismet
    – I am not using any captcha functionality

If I remove the disabled=true attribute or set it to false and click the button, the attribute is put back or set to the true.

Actually, this is the behaviour of the contact form so as not to send mail twice. Still, the mail is not being sent.

    Hi @avantprime

I’ve taken a look at your website and specifically your contact form, and I’ve seen that the form doesn’t get submitted at all.

From our end, I can see that your website has a solid Jetpack connection with a healthy sync, so I suspect that there’s a plugin or the theme causing a conflict and preventing the contact form from working properly.

I know this is less than ideal, but I’d appreciate it if you tested with all your plugins being disabled (while keeping Jetpack active) and while reverting to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen.

You can then try to send the form, and see if this works. If it does, it means that either your theme or one of your plugins is breaking the code there, for which enabling your plugins one by one and testing would help you to find which one is the culprit here.

Let us know how this goes when you have the chance to do that.

Thanks for the advice. It was the theme (AdoreChurch) that was causing the problem. I switched themes and it works perfectly.
