Dear all, thank you in advance for any help… I have just been asked to look at WP site that had no access to the wp-admin page, after resetting all plug-ins it looks like the Checkout Manager is failing with the error “Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method Automattic\Jetpack\Status\Host::get_known_host_guess()” I have done a quick google – and it looks like this might be a symptom of loading older jetpack stuff… Now the WP version is 6.4.7 and PHP 8.0.3 – so i know its outdated, however i never created the site, so i dont want to make things worse by guessing, i wanted to see if you think the older versions are causing the issue, or its a plug-in clash. I did try only enabling the site builder (Oxygen, i am pretty aware of it) and just wooCommerce and Checkout Checkout Manager, and got the fatal error… Any ideas or directions would be helpful! Thank you in advance.

    Hi mate,

Thanks for reaching out and for the detailed explanation.

Could you please let us know which version of our plugin (both Free and Pro, if applicable) you’re currently using?
It’s possible that, due to the older environment, there’s an incompatibility with the current setup.

We always recommend updating to the latest versions of WordPress, PHP, and all active plugins — not only to ensure full compatibility with Checkout Manager but also for the overall stability and security of your site.

We got involved when the user upgraded to the latest version (Free version) – I removed it and installed the previous version, and still had the same error message.

I agree about updates, I think i will run a full backup and upgrade if you are ok with that. Normally this would be my first port of call, however with a plug in i dont know, i would err on the side of caution.

Thank you for the fast response.

The problem seems to have been sorted now, I upgraded the version of PHP and WordPress and it seems to have resolved the problem. There also seemed to be a problem with the user account being low on diskspace, so i am not sure if that was causing any problems for plugin updates (I did not get any particular errors related to that), but caused a problem with PHP upgrade. So if anyone else get the same problem(s) I would definitely make sure of latest versions of everything.

    Thank you for your help!
