Jetpack Mobile – Tablet recognition

    The JetPack Mobile theme does not recognize the iPad or Nexus 7 as tablets. It delivers the same page as a desktop.

    Tested on iPhone, Android and Windows 8 phones and the mobile theme works.

    Is there a switch somewhere to tell it to work on tablets as well?

    The Mobile theme is only meant to appear on smartphones. If you are looking for a good Tablet theme, you might want to install OnSwipe on your site:

    Thanks, I tried OnSwipe – it more or less took my site down on iPad (404 errors, swipe but no images) and was totally ineffective on Android and iPhone. They have some work to do yet.

    I actually like the normal site on iPad and Nexus 7 since they look like the regular site which is fairly clean and scales down nicely.
