Jetpack Popular Posts Widget Fatal error

When trying to put the Jetpack Popular posts widget in my sidebar I get the following text appearing instead of the widget:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function stats_get_csv() in /hermes/bosoraweb181/b2117/ipw.ifitship/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/jetpack-popular-posts/jetpack-popular-posts.php on line 235

Please advise how to fix this.
