Hello, I received a message from Jetpack protect that: ‘The installed version of Secure Copy Content Protection (4.5.5) has a known security vulnerability.’ What is being done to correct this?

    Thank you.

Thank you for your reply but I am getting the same warning with the new version. It reads: Vulnerable plugin: Secure Copy Content Protection (version 4.5.6) It appears the issue has not been fixed…. thank you in advance

    Dear @bobbyferran,

    Thanks for the reply.

You can see in the report below that the issue is resolved in the 4.5.6 version of the plugin:

It’s possible that the security plugin you’re using hasn’t updated its vulnerability database yet, which might be why it’s still flagging the issue.

You might consider reaching out to their support team to get more clarity on the timing of their updates.

In any case, we can confidently confirm that the code has been secure since version 4.5.6.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
