Jetpack Slideshow broken
-
Hi,
I use Jetpack slideshows and recently they stopped working on desktop and mobile. Forward/back buttons are now at the bottom of the firdst image and are non responsive. Also, sliding from one image to another no longer works.
Also, when trying to convert a gallery to a slideshow the editor crashes and I get the following error:
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'filter')

Hi there, Sebastian from Jetpack here. I hope you are doing well.
I notice that your images are being loaded from from a particular address, using a prefix “static2.”:
Can you share if you are using any CDN to load the images or the particular details on how are you inserting them on your site?
Regarding the errors on the editor can you try to see if this is related to a plugin or theme conflict? To isolate the one causing the issue, you can do that by following these steps:
- Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Jetpack and clear your browser’s cache.
- Try again to convert the block, and if that works,
- Then, you can reactivate plugins one by one, checking after each one to discover which plugin is causing the problem.
- You can leave that plugin deactivated and/or contact whoever makes that plugin to resolve the issue it’s causing.
If deactivating plugins doesn’t help, it may be your theme.
- Temporarily activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Four.
- Then, try again. If the problem is fixed, then you know it’s a problem with the theme. You can contact whoever makes the theme to resolve the issue it’s causing.
You can see these theme troubleshooting steps in detail in our Troubleshooting guide.
If you want to keep the conversation private, you can reach out to us from this form https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?hpi=1, with the results of these tests.
Cheers,
Hello @eperezf,
Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
Sorry for the delay.
Yes, we are using a CDN (Cloudflare) to load our images. It seems that the problem has been fixed. I Don’t know if anything changed since I reported the issue.
