Hi,

I am using the Jetpack plugin as a free user. On “my Jetpack” table, I can see that Social jetpack plugin is active, but I still cannot connect my social networks. In fact, whenever I try to manage the social plugin directly from “My Jetpack”, or try to get the basic plan I end up on a page that says :

“You don’t have any WordPress sites yet” with a button “Create a wbesite”. Problem is, I do have a website : https://recette-italienne.fr/

Can you help?

@recetteitalienne Jetpack is not able to connect to the site, which is why you’re seeing that message and are not able to use Jetpack Social.

Jetpack needs to be able to access the site’s XML-RPC file in order to connect. You can learn more about that here: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-and-xml-rpc/

Your XML-RPC file URL is redirecting to the homepage, which is preventing Jetpack from connecting to the site. I’d recommend removing that redirect so that Jetpack can access the XML-RPC file and connect.
