Do you use a caching plugin or service on that site, or a plugin that concatenates JavaScript files and could break the stats tracking code?
If so, could you try to deactivate those plugins for a bit, and see if it helps?
I think you use at least one, Autoptimize. It should be compatible with Jetpack Stats, but it might be worth running some tests, by deactivating all your plugins, one at a time, and making sure none of them affect your stats.

If so, it’s not created by Jetpack, so I’m not sure I’ll be able to help. I’d suggest reviewing your plugin list, and contacting the author of that plugin instead, asking them where that value is pulled from.
