    Hello.
Is there a way to add qwant.com, lilo.org, or ecosia.org to the “search engines” list?

    Hi there, @rellik77,

That’s good question 🙂 Currently, Jetpack Stats automatically recognises major search engines, but it doesn’t support adding custom search engines like qwant.com, lilo.org, or ecosia.org to the list. For more detailed insights, you might consider using additional analytics tools.

Hope that answers your question, even if probably that’s not the answer you wanted to hear 🙂
Let me know if there’s anything else we can do to help. Thanks!

I expected that response. It’s a shame that some search engines aren’t considered as such. Especially Qwant, which is widely used in France.

    Hey @rellik77,

I see where your feedback is coming from, and it’s valid!

If this would be useful for your reporting, we’d recommend submitting it as a feature request here so the team can track it.

When submitting, it helps to include:

    • Which search engines you’d like added (e.g. Qwant, Ecosia, Lilo)
    • Why they matter for your reporting or audience tracking
    • Any examples of how you’re currently seeing them appear in Stats

Hope that helps! Thanks again for the suggestion: it’s really helpful feedback 🙂

    I’ve made a request on GitHub =)

    hey @rellik77,

That is fantastic, thanks for helping us improve the product 🙂

Please keep in mind that we don’t have an ETA for the feature request to be implemented; the team prioritises work based on several factors, and while your report is absolutely valid and now documented, we’re not able to promise a specific follow-up.

A couple of things that may be useful going forward:

    • Keep Jetpack up to date: fixes and improvements are rolled out regularly, and staying on the latest version means you’ll get them as soon as they’re available.
    • Keep an eye on the changelogs: when updates are released, any fixes are listed there. You can find all Jetpack plugin changelogs here: Learn what’s new in Jetpack plugins.

Hope that helps! I’m going to mark this thread as solved. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
