Hi there, @livewanderplay,
I tried to replicate the issue on my end by subscribing to your blog with different email addresses, and the issue seems to be very intermittent: sometimes I can subscribe, sometimes I can’t.
I noticed that I can always subscribe with no browser extensions enabled and with a clear cache. Would you like to try that, too, to see if that helps?
Hello, unfortunately I don’t think any of your subscription attempts actually work – I did not receive notification of new subscribers. I have cleared caches on various browsers (without browser extensions) and none of those worked either. I would not receive notification on the page nor through an email notification that I have been subscribed.
Hi there,
I can confirm that I’m stuck, and I can’t subscribe at all now; the URL of your site looks like https://livewanderplay.com/# when submitting my subscription.
Would you please triple-check for me that the feature is fully enabled at https://livewanderplay.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/newsletter
If the feature is enabled okay, would you test the widget on a different theme to see if there’s a theme conflict? You can switch your theme to Twenty Twenty and see if the problem persists.
Let me know how you get on.
Hey @livewanderplay,
Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
Hello,
The subscribe features still doesn’t work. Changing the theme to Twenty Twenty did not help and it also messed up my site’s layout. I changed the theme back to Astra.
Hi @livewanderplay
At this point, we’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.
Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?
Thanks @bruceallen. I have submitted a request on your support contact form documenting this Subscribe function no longer working, along with the “Read More of this Post” Newsletter link (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/read-more-of-this-post-link-on-subscribers-email-is-not-directly-properly/) not working as @erania-pinnera has suggested the two problems may be related.
