    Hi,

very often i do important updates to my Posts. I also switch the date to the actual time so that the post appears on first position again.

Unfortunately, jetpack is not giving an notification email to my subscribers, but i would like to.
Is there any way to force jetpack sending a notification email about the update?

    regards st0ibi

  • The same things happens for me too. As of November 16th, the posts stopped sending by e-mail to all our subscribers. I would love to know what has happened!

My blog just started sending the emails again…

Maybe i made my Problem not clear enough:

I do not have the problem, that people are not getting emails about a new post. This works perfect!

My Problem is, that i make several ongoing updates of some posts and People will not get a notification.

    For example:

In August i published a new post and People were informed of that by jetpack.
In the meantime i published several other posts, where People also were informed by jetpack.

Now i want to make an update of that 1st post from August. I write new informations in and put in the date from today, so that this post will be on first Position of my blog again.

But unfortunately People will not get a notification of that …..

@st0ibi That’s indeed the way we designed Jetpack Subscriptions. We wanted to make sure an email isn’t sent to your subscribers every time you make a change in the post.

However, in your case you actually need to be able to send multiple updates about a single post. That’s unfortunately not possible right now, but I took note of your feedback, and we’ll consider adding an option to “re-send” subscription emails in a future Jetpack update.

    Thanks for the feedback!

@saraht2 Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

It would also help if you could let me know your site URL there, so I can take a closer look. If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Thank you!
