Jetpack Subscriptions: wrong author

Using Jetpack to allow our readers to subscribe to the blog and receive new posts via email. That works great. The problem is that all of the new posts sent via email are showing the same single user instead of the co-author user. In other words, because the co-author is not a real WP user, it’s not sent to Jetpack (and wordpress.com) and it’s not handled correctly when the email is sent.

This is definitely a problem and means we can’t use this module at all.
