After JetPack update, my WordPress website slowed to a crawl. VaultPress was unable to create backups for 6 days. Now of course, WordPress 5.5 is out and breaking websites.

I am getting nothing but server timeouts and blank screens. I have disabled every single plugin to no avail.

Do the timeouts continue with the Jetpack plugin deactivated?

No. I ended up reverting the website to WordPress 5.4. JetPack and VaultPress are the only plugins presenting issues.
