Hi @mthupp,
Please try deactivating and deleting the Jetpack plugin and make sure the existing Jetpack plugin folder is no longer there in wp-content > plugins. Then reinstall it from scratch, reactivate and reconnect to WordPress.com.
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for the help. I deleted the Jetpack plugin, and it no longer showed up in my plugins list. Then I installed it again, and got the following message on the WordPress
“Installation failed: Could not copy file.”
Nevertheless, I activated Jetpack. My WordPress dashboard page then says:
“Your installation of Jetpack is incomplete. If you installed Jetpack from GitHub, please refer to this document to set up your development environment.”
So it appears something did not go right, but I do not know what is wrong. Jetpack shows up as activated in my plugins list in WordPress, but it does not show up on my Bluehost list of plugins. It does not show up in the left-hand column on the WordPress dashboard.
Thank you for any additional assistance you can provide.
Are you installing Jetpack via Plugins > Add New in your site’s Dashboard?
Do you have trouble installing any other plugins right now?

Yes, I installed it from Add New. All other plug-in updates have installed properly.
Ok, would you please reach out to Bluehost support about this? https://www.bluehost.com/contact
This type of error typically means the server is blocking a specific file or file type from being added, and since no one else is reporting this issue, I suspect it’s something they may be able to clear up for you.

I figured out my problem was not enough space in Bluehost. I cleared some space and was able to install Jetpack and it appears to be working.
Thanks for the help.
That’s great news @mthupp, thanks for letting us know what the problem was 🙂
