Jigo shop Plugin

i am given with a old wordpress site in which the jigoshop plugin is used ,in which each product category have a image along with description and name like this , http://nutec-enterprises.com/product-category/cable-glands but when i have accessed the dashboard whether they have uploaded any image i found that there is no option for image upload there. now i have installed a new wordpress and activated the plugin then i have tried to upload the image then i found this error

“404_1162-1.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2013/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
