Hi,
During the user’s navigation into the panorama, the smoothness of the animation is managed by the browser: each time the browser detects that the mouse (or the finger) has moved, the position is updated. That means there are as much fps as the browser sends the events, so we can’t play with the framerate to get a smoother experience.
I understand what you mean, and I’m currently working on a new way to manage user’s navigation. Maybe this new feature will solve your issue, so I propose you wait for the new version to be released (next week I think) and we’ll see.
Thanks for the response.
Respectfully, other 360 viewers/websites seem to handle this much better (but I don’t know what other websites do in code). However, since the other options are smoother, I don’t think its a browser issue necessarily.
I hope your upcoming update helps with this because the “jittery” scrolling is very distracting, IMHO.
However, I’m still glad I found your plugin! It looks so promising I hope you continue to develop it. I love its simplicity.

I wanted to login to comment on the update. It made a huge difference in the smoothness. It’s an amazing update. I feel that I can now properly present my spherical images to my clients.
Thanks!
