  • Hi @elisabethlou
    Your site wp-cron.php has password-protected, so I would recommend using alternative cron instead:
    please modify wp-config.php ( you can find this file in your root directory ), and before the line:
    /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
    add this line:
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON' , true );

    Or better, exclude wp-cron.php from password-protected 🙂
    Hope that could help 🙂

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply!

    I added the line
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON' , true );
    in wp-config.php but still have the “job not responding” showing.

    How can I exclude wp-cron.php from password-protected?

    Many thanks!

    Hi @elisabethlou
    hmm, could you check if WP Staging plugin is activated? If so, could you try temproary deactivate it then run the job again?

    Hi !

    It works fine on the live site, but it still show the message error on staging site (that requires credentials to log in). Any workaround so I can backup the staging site either?

    Many thanks!

    Hi @elisabethlou
    Could you try to disable WP Staging plugin then try again?

    Hi @duongcuong96

    I managed to make it work on staging site. I cloned and created a new staging site that is no-password-protected.

    Many thanks for your help!
