Should work. Are you able to see the name entering fields ? Which version of the plugin are you using ?
Try using for normal meetings as well. With new version of the plugin ie from 3.4.2 – WebSDK is updated to version 1.7.10 which requires re-captcha validation. After the name fields it takes the user to re-captcha validation.
Pease check if your browser is blocking any popups as well.

If I create a regular new meeting, it works. But if I try to join a meeting that is embed with a shortcode from the live meetings (recurring), then it doesn’t work. We don’t even get to the part where the user enters their name.
Still can’t get it to work on recurring meetings. Any ideas?

I have installed the plugin on my local machine nd i am getting below error whenever i try to join via browser. Error i am getting is as:
