jquery 1.1.1

I just got an full width html5 audio plugin from codecanyon that uses jquery 1.1.1 .. in your intro you state that if the jquery core library is below 2.1 then a code should be changed? Does this mean because this plugin I got from codecanyon uses 1.1.1 that I need to change something? If so, can you tell me what directory to go to for changing it? Thank you.
