I presume you are using the plugin short code on your website, right?
If so, you can style your jQuery DataTables the same way you would style other elements on your website. You can add your own css to style your tables. Here is a link which might be helpful: https://datatables.net/examples/styling/
If you want to use bootstrap to style your tables (which is one of the styling examples on the link above) you can simply enabled checkbox “Load Bootstrap (version 3.3.7) scripts and styles” in the plugin front-end settings (first checkbox on the manage plugin page). This was meant as a quick startup example, but you can add any other style. You just need to add the appropriate stylesheets to your website.
