jQuery Errors and users cannot upload avatars after WP update

    This week I’ve updated some wordpress and buddypress sites and noticed from users that they cannot upload and change their avatars anymore after we’ve updated to WordPress 4.9. All they see is a continuous spinning wheel and a lot of jQuery errors.

    What happened and how can we fix this?
