jQuery not defined

Hello, I am quite new to WP, but i really found what I need in your plugin! Unfortunatelly, map which I created from GPX import, is not displayed, I found error in console, if I understand it, it is some jQuery loading problem. I am using Salient theme and that works ok. Can you please have a look?

Thanks for reaching out. This sounds like a jQuery conflict.

Does this issue persist if you switch to one of the default themes?

You were right, after I switched to default theme, map is displaying. That not good 🙂 as i paid for the theme and I was selecting it a long time. It should be quite up-to-date https://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4363266?s_rank=1

Not sure what to do now, maybe I can try to find some option in theme to load jQuery sooner

In theme I see option to:

Custom JS Code (Head)Please enter in any custom javascript you wish to add to the head of your pages. Requires opening and closing script tags.

maybe I can try to add jquery import there ?

yes, when I added this script to Custom JS Code (Head), it is working :). Not happy about it, but better than nothing

Hi @davidmx1,

Waymark is set to require the core jQuery script, so it should be loaded automatically.

Your solution is sound, though you shouldn’t need jQuery migrate – just the core jQuery.
