Since I saw you use jquery, does it output on the frontend or backend only? I don’t use jquery on the frontend since it slows my site by 2 seconds, and more, on slower connections.

    Hello!

TSF depends on jQuery only on the administrative screens and relies entirely on WordPress outputting it.

TSF does not depend on any JavaScript on the front-end. So, I think you’re good to go!

As an aside, in the latest update, we added support for jQuery 3.5.1, which will ship in a future update of WordPress (hopefully this year!). It significantly improves performance. You can test-drive it with this WordPress community-created plugin, but it’s meant for developers only (so you may encounter bugs!). Although, it might be worth a shot in your case.

I hope this answers your question. Feel free to follow up! Cheers 🙂

Yes, it does, thanks! Though I read somewhere that jquery might not be upgraded any time before version 5.7 of WP comes out.
