Jquery Vertical Mega Menu Not Working

I am fairly new to creating themes and using plugins on WordPress. I have been struggling with getting the query vertical mega menu to work. The demos are fantastic. The menu does not display properly. It displays all three levels of options and has no animation. I have made numerous changes to the functions.php file, sidebar.php, page.php. Please help me. I am sure it is a simple fix that I am overlooking.
