Js, CSS files not loading

    Hi Team,

    In my wordpress localsetup site, the css files, js files are not loading. I am getting 500 error in the console.
    Attached some messages from the console.
    Kindly help me.

    The 500 errors are probably “red herrings” (misleading clues of no importance). The true issue is Uncaught TypeError: $(...).maxSubmit is not a function. There’s inline code on the page that’s executing before the related function declaration gets processed. Likely an issue of improper dependency specification, if not a plain old coding error.

    Narrow down the source of the erroneous code by switching to a default twenty* theme and deactivating all plugins. The error should go away. Restore your theme, then plugins, one at time, checking for errors after each. When the errors return, the last activated is the cause. I recommend seeking further assistance through the dedicated support channel of the responsible module.

    Thank you for your response. I have resolved the maxSubmit function error and tried to use 20’s theme. But still getting 500 error.

    Those are requests external to WP. If you requested http://localhost/wp-content/themes/ngp/assets/library/tooltipster/tooltipster-scripts.js for example from your browser address bar and still get a 500 error, the issue lies in your local server, not WP itself.

    Thank you. Can you please tell me why it is giving 500 in my local server?
    Do i need to check with any other ports or is there any reason for this?

    Requesting that tooltipster-scripts.js file resulted in a 500 response? There’s something wrong with the local server configuration. 500 errors aren’t specific, many things could cause it. One common reason is erroneous .httaccess syntax. Try renaming the file as a test. Under a different name, WP permalinks will fail, but you could at least get the home page if the error was in the file.
