We are experiencing js issues which we are told is due to the Siteground Optimizer. We tried to exclude the script following the steps in this topic, but it is not working.

Additionally, we have the same function on 11 different pages and are unsure if one fix will work.

    Specific issue:

When I click “Book now” on https://www.ackceptional.com/ack-booking-test/, a JavaScript error appears (see the last error in the screenshot). This is also why the page is refreshing. If the error doesn’t appear, the reservation works as expected.

It fails with Stripe because when the page refreshes before the payment is processed, the reservation is not approved – although it does get saved in the database.

The error is coming from this file:
    https://www.ackceptional.com/wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/js/apbct-public-bundle_gathering.min.js

Further research found that it is not the cleantalk plugin, but the caching associated with the file.

Woudl you please tell us what steps to take next? Thank you

    Hello @itsyourbusinessatl ,

To confirm which exact feature of the Speed Optimizer plugin might be interfering with the page in question, you can try stopping them one by one until the error is no longer present. After you have pinpointed the feature, you can exclude the respective page, CSS, or JS script by either using the exclude options in the plugin’s interface or a custom filter:
    https://eu.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/speed-optimizer/custom-filters/

In case the problem persists, we recommend submitting a support request through your SiteGround account. Our Technical Support team will be able to review your case in more detail and provide further information and assistance.

    Best Regards,

    Svetoslav Vasev
