Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand that you’re having trouble locating some translation strings, particularly those within our JavaScript files.
While the majority of our plugin strings are available for translation via standard POT files, some JS-based strings require a specific scanning process. To help me investigate this further and ensure these are properly exposed for Loco Translate and Poedit, could you please provide a few examples of the specific strings that are currently missing?
Once I have those examples, I can verify if they are properly wrapped in translation functions or if we need to update our language template for you.
Hello,
First of all, thank you very much for creating such a great plugin and for your continuous support. We really appreciate the work your team has done on WowAddons.
I’m reaching out regarding the translation files. While most PHP strings are included in the POT file, a large number of strings that are used in JavaScript are missing from the template and therefore cannot be translated via Poedit or Loco Translate.
Here are some examples of strings that appear in the UI but are not present in the POT file:
• Header / menu titles in the dashboard such as:
– Overview
– Option List
– Analytics
– Settings
– Fonts
• Many button labels in the UI
• Texts inside select / dropdown boxes
• Section titles in the Analytics area, and global styles sec for example:
– “Total Sales (Addons)”
And there are many more similar cases throughout the plugin.
Thanks again for your great plugin and your support.
