Hi, thanks for this great plugin! πŸ˜€

I get a “Update failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.” from WP when I do this:

    1. be sure you have no future events or no locations at all
    2. put [locations_map width=600 height=400 scope=”future”] in a page
    3. save the page and you’ll get the error

Probably some check is missing if the locations array is empty! πŸ˜‰

If no location is found with the given arguments, “No Locations found” will be returned. But you need to wrap all arguments in quotes, btw: width=”600px”.

This plugin does not use any jSON responses. That sounds more like another plugin is causing the error.

Please deactivate all other plugins (except for EM -OSM & Events Manager, of course), test by clicking “Update” in the page. Keep reactivating your other plugins one by one, until the error re-occurs to find the one conflicting.

Take a look at this screenshot: https://ibb.co/SthWj5G

It’s WP that gives the JSON error when I update the post, quotes are not the problem (same result) and other plugins are not the problem (all disabled, fresh WP install): when I insert a place the error goes away, when no place is found the error comes back. 😩

Please try it in Classic Editor.
