Jumpy Text

I’ve just recovered from a major kerfluffle on my weblog. That was me a couple of days ago asking about migrating. It looked like I was going to have to start from scratch, but ended up just installing a new theme and doing a lot of revisions.

Most everything is back together, but I have one remaining problem– one that I think you helped me with a few years ago when I first installed your plugin.

If I have a slideshow in a blog post, and the album contains photos with different aspect ratios and sizes, all the text below adjusts vertically to compensate. If I have multiple slideshows, the movement becomes positively dizzying, and the text becomes unreadable.

As I remember, you gave me a simple fix– adding a line of code somewhere– that made the problem go away.

Anyway, I need that fix again. I’ve been looking through my notes, and I can’t find it.
