I never had page speed affects with this plugin : it just inserts the GA script.
Could you copy/paste the lines shown in red in pingdom or gtmetrix ?

As you can see that’s the tracking script hosted on Google Servers. So if you’re going to use Google Analytics according to their specifications, that’s something you’ll have to compromise. You can’t have it all, an over optimized website and web analytics at the same time.
Consider posting the site url next time, it would be much easier to figure out what you’re referring to.
From what you posted it looks that you also have a tracking code duplicate there, which you should fix. I can’t tell for sure since I don’t know to which site you’re referring.
It looks fine, from a tracking code duplicate point of view.
