    I am refurbishing my website proper.com, on a different domain. Then I want to migrate this refurbished wordpress site to my main domain, proper.com using duplicator. I know I have to delete all the public.html files of the original proper.com site, but can I just remove the tables from the original proper.com database using duplicator to repopulate the tables from the refurbished site.
    And do I use the name and user and password from the original proper.com database?

    Its recommended to create a new database and then just connect to it. There is an option on the installer to connect to an existing database, but this will remove all the tables in the database you connect to and install the new ones based on the SQL file in the package.
