I have used this plugin on other sites in the past and it has worked beautifully. I just updated to WordPress 3.6 and then installed the plugin. I get an error that reads “Oops! Something went terrible wrong. Please reinstall Dynamic Widgets.”

    I have reinstalled a couple times…no change.

I am sure this is just an update issue. Hopefully the bugs can be worked out quickly. I like this plugin and would like to continue using it.

This error only occurs when the database where DW stores the rules for the widgets has vanished or it can’t create it. Creation is done during activation of the plugin.

So, can you make a recommendation????? I have deleted and reinstalled several times.

I think you should check if the database table [wordpress_prefix]_dynamic_widgets still exists. And if it doesn’t, why DW can’t create it. This can be a rights issue at the database server, i.e. no table create rights for the user credentials that WordPress is using. Also, when the table does exists, the question is then why WordPress can’t find it. That might also be a rights issue.
